Job Description
This position will be located in the Signode Service and Parts Business Unit.
SUMMARY
Perform duties to enter and process customer orders for assigned export and distributor sales territories in an accurate and timely manner, maintain effective customer relations and assist customer by resolving problems. Work on special project as needed
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Review, analyze and enter orders, quotes, SM quotes, RMA's and credit requirement from incoming Faxes, emails, phone and automated process
+ Work with VIP customers, assign priorities and designate modes of transportation to include shipping instructions, export documentation, special export markings, weights, forwarders and consolidation point
+ Understand and apply custom compliance to international shipments
+ Work with forwarders to obtain freight charges and manage discrepancies on shipment
+ Respond to direct customer and sales correspondence inquiries and demands, investigate and resolve problems using various ERP programs
+ Coordinate the releasing of goods for consolidation
+ Work with various level of management throughout the entire organization to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers
+ Review and interpret letters of credit requirement and ensure all documentation and instructions are followed
+ Invoicing domestic and international orders. Ensure the correct documentation is accompanying the shipments that are being shipped overseas. Able to function equipment and understand process needed to invoice international shipments
+ Collect past due accounts, contact customers directly, work with Sales and Service to resolve receivable problems and maintain credit limits
+ Assist in maintaining the incoming 1-800 and domestic calls
+ Maintain reports to provide pertinent information to customers and sales, make sure all orders have followed the proper path without any disruption
+ Must be able to recommend a simplication whether it is used with the department or in the business unit

Education:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
