Marketing Project Manager

Overall Responsibilities
  • Create timelines and budgets for all global internal and external marketing deliverables e.g. videos, web pages, collateral, newsletters, email campaigns, PowerPoints, events, etc. in a fast paced, high volume environment (approx. 3,000 projects annually).?? Candidate will also need to support the global Communications team as well as other segments and functional departments with ad-hoc projects
  • For each marketing project, candidate will need to create workflows and assignments in the Wrike Project Management tool and follow the item through concept development, production/design, final approvals, launch and translations process to ensure client's project requirements and deadlines are met
  • General project management tasks include project managing and tracking marketing programs that are 30-60-90 days out; setting up weekly touch point meetings; creating daily, weekly, monthly dash boards; following up daily to ensure deadlines are met; setting up appropriate kick off meetings for strategic projects
  • Be the main point of contact for our Wrike Project Management tool, train new users and groups on the system and work to continually improve our processes of working within the system ?
  • Collaborate with our lead designer on communicating and allocating project requirements and deadlines to designers
  • Communicates with others: Provides information to others both internal and external to the organization; represents the organization to customers and other external sources.
  • Monitor and Control Project Work: Measure project performance using our Wrike project management tool in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
  • Manage Change to Scope: Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan and facilitate customer acceptance.
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a background in communications, marketing or journalism with background working in a Project Management Office (PMO) or in the project management space
  • PMP certification highly desired
  • Knowledge of Wrike Project Management Tool a plus but not required. Willingness to learn and embrace the program is a must.?
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience managing creative content at the corporate or agency level is required. Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume agency environment or marketing environment would make this candidate stand out. Printing background and familiarity with Indesign, Hubspot, would be a plus. This varied role will require the successful candidate to be a proven team player with a ""can-do"" attitude and excellent communication skills.?
  • Being a self-starter by nature, this person will possess effective organization and project management skills, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while being flexible, adaptable and responsive to shifting priorities.?
  • This person will need to be able to work independently, but also work very well within a team environment.?
  • Strong communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to support team building: Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members.
  • Ability to advocate a creative atmosphere, facilitates entrepreneurial meetings, and envisions a final product and overall market acceptance early in the design and/or development process.
  • Ability to establish alliances with other departments and organizations by recognizing dependencies in order to assess potential partnership and commitment to the program.
  • Ability to identify project risks by defining risk strategies and developing the risk management plan in order to reduce uncertainty throughout the project lifecycle

Technical Skills
  • Experience in InDesign, HubSpot is a strong plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, MS Office
  • Knowledge or Wrike Project Management a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
